Cedrus Advisory is led by Simon — an experienced construction project manager, licensed NSW builder and former partner in a commercial fitout business. He holds a degree in Construction Project Management from UTS and has worked across hospitality and commercial fitouts in Sydney.
Having sat on both sides of the table — delivering fitouts and now advising the owners who pay for them — Simon set up Cedrus Advisory to give operators clear, construction-grounded advice before they commit, and coordinated delivery through to opening.
A builder's licence authorises building work; it does not authorise legal advice, structural engineering or statutory certification. Where those are needed, we coordinate with the appropriate qualified specialists.

Cedrus Advisory acts as a client-side project consultancy. We represent the owner's interest — assessing premises, clarifying cost and responsibility, coordinating design and approvals, helping appoint suitable contractors, and managing delivery within the agreed scope.
We are not the principal contractor, and we don't supervise every trade. The services we provide and the authority we carry are defined in the appointment for each engagement.

Cedrus Advisory is the consultancy brand of Cedrus Group Pty Ltd. Within the same company, Cedrus Design & Construct is the construction brand, and Facade Revival Co. and Sydney Bespoke Bathrooms are specialist trading brands.
Where a relationship with Cedrus Design & Construct, Regera or any other contractor is relevant to a recommendation, we disclose it. Procurement recommendations are based on project needs, and tender reviews compare contractors on a consistent basis. We don't claim corporate separation or complete independence from Cedrus Group — only that our advice is given in your interest as the client.
